What began as a dream to create something truly magical for families has grown into one of our favorite traditions of the season — the Santa Visit Scholarship Program.
When we launched the Magical Santa Experience, our goal was simple: to give families something that felt timeless — portraits that capture the joy, wonder, and nostalgia of childhood at Christmastime. Every year, we see just how much these portraits mean to parents and children alike. But we also know that not every family is in a position to experience that magic.
That’s where the idea for the Santa Visit Scholarship Program was born.
We wanted a way to give back to our community, to make sure every family — no matter their circumstances — could feel that same warmth, excitement, and joy. Through nominations submitted by our clients and local friends, one deserving family receives the complete Magical Santa Experience — a fully gifted session, products, and heirloom artwork to treasure for years to come.
And we’re not doing it alone. This program wouldn’t be possible without the incredible local businesses and sponsors who have joined in to help bring the magic to life. From Mahomet boutiques and small shops to service providers and community supporters, each sponsor plays a role in giving one local family a Christmas memory that lasts forever.
Beyond the photos, this program represents what we believe Christmas is truly about — connection, generosity, and love. Watching our community rally together, seeing families light up as they receive this gift, reminds us why we do what we do each season.
Nominations are now open! If you know a family who deserves a little extra Christmas magic this year, we invite you to nominate them through our form. One recipient will be announced November 8th, and their complete Santa Experience will be fully gifted — because everyone deserves to feel the magic of Christmas.
