Pixels by Emily Featured in Child Couture Magazine
We are thrilled to share that Pixels by Emily has been published in Child Couture Magazine! This feature highlights our Grace & Grit couture series through a magical, Broadway-inspired editorial—Wicked.
Just like the story of Wicked, which explores strength, friendship, and individuality, this session was designed to showcase both grace and grit in every teen who stepped in front of the camera. Each gown represented a piece of the story, creating a visual narrative that celebrated courage, softness, and the power of being unapologetically yourself.
The Couture Story
The Emerald Gown — Inspired by the Emerald City, this bold gown captured ambition, vibrance, and the confidence to shine brightly.
The Black Gown — Dramatic and elegant, this look mirrored Elphaba’s resilience and grit, embodying strength and the beauty of standing out.
Rainbow Ruffles & Pink Couture — With playful color and classic princess styling, these gowns reflected Glinda’s essence: joyful, graceful, and full of sparkle.
Together, these looks told the story of both sides of confidence—softness and strength—reminding us that every child has both within them.
Why Grace & Grit Matters
Every Grace & Grit session is designed to be more than a photoshoot. It’s a chance for kids and teens to see themselves as worthy, powerful, and unforgettable. Confidence isn’t just about how you look—it’s about knowing your own worth. And that’s exactly what we aim to capture in every portrait.
Being published in Child Couture Magazine is an honor and a celebration of this mission. It’s proof that couture portraiture can be both artistic and empowering, giving kids a tangible reminder of who they are—and who they are becoming.
Because every child deserves to believe in their abilities, their beauty, and their power.
