Adolescence is a beautiful yet delicate time. As parents, we often witness our children grappling with self-doubt, comparing themselves to others, and struggling to see their own worth. I have a 14-year-old myself, so this season of life is hitting especially close to home. I am personally so heartbroken reading many of today's headlines about kids who aren't weathering this period well. I wanted to figure out a way that we could help kids navigate their way and make a difference in our own community. That’s how our Grace & Grit sessions were born. Portrait sessions for tweens and teens are about more than just pictures and can be truly transformative when done with intention.

I have said many times since I started Pixels that what I do is soul work, and with the introduction of this genre, I feel that more than ever. We don't just push a button on a camera... what we create can truly be life-changing.
