There is no other experience quite like having a newborn.
In the moment, you think you’ll never forget how tiny his feet are, and that face she makes when you hold her close to your chest so you can smell the top of her head. Time goes by so fast and they grow so quickly that the pictures in your mind of those small details do get out of focus. Don’t lose them forever by failing to have your newborn properly photographed by a professional that specializes in those tiny details. Pixels has been creating expertly styled studio newborn portraits for almost a decade and has captured thousands of fingers and toes and lashes that lay down on babies’ cheeks.
Keeping your little one safe and healthy is our top priority! We have spent years training specifically in newborn safety and posing, attend annual ongoing training, always have a trained assistant helping during newborn sessions, and our team members are each current on all vaccinations (flu and COVID included). The studio and all props used are sanitized between sessions as well to keep everyone safe.
Newborn Portrait Sessions
We offer multiple newborn portrait packages that include varying session lengths ranging from 3-5 hours). All newborn sessions consist of a combination of poses on a photographic bean bag and/or various props (baskets, crates and buckets). To make things easy on you, we provide all clothing, wraps, headpieces and props for your infant’s session. All you need to bring us is the baby. Newborn portraits are typically photographed when the baby is between 7-21 days old. We highly recommend booking your session when you are 4-5 months along to allow plenty of time for session planning and for any custom props needed for your session to be designed, made and shipped.

Newborn Photography Pricing Information
Newborn photography sessions are classically styled and photographed in the Pixels studio located in Mahomet, Illinois during the standard work week. All props, clothing, and accessories incorporated into the sets are provided by Pixels. Depending on your package selection, the session length ranges from three to five hours. Newborn portrait package prices start at $2,395 and each includes a combination of printed art and retouched digital files.
