As a full-service, fine art portrait photography studio, the experience you will enjoy with Pixels is commensurate with the portrait art we create. Although there are many different types of sessions, the basic process remains the same no matter what subject we are capturing.
Discovery Call
The first step is a Discovery Call. This quick call can be scheduled through the website where we will discuss the details of what a session with us would look like. We will also be able to answer any up-front questions you may have. After the call, you will be sent a booking proposal. In the proposal, you will be able to choose your package, sign the contract, pay the invoice and book an in-person consultation.
Consultation & Planning
Your in-person consultation will be held at the Pixels studio or virtually over Zoom. This crucial meeting is where we will go over the process, expectations and plans for your session.
The Session
Your only job during our photo session is to relax and have fun. Portrait sessions should be fun and create memories that add to your family’s story, not torturous events that you dread!
Ordering Appointment
Within 10–14 days of your session, you will be invited to return to the Pixels studio for your personalized Ordering Session. During this meeting, you will view a video compilation of your portrait gallery and together we will choose which portraits should be showcased on your walls, what should be presented in an album, and what should be printed for framing and gifts. All products and digital images will be selected and ordered at this appointment, so it’s imperative that all decision makers and anyone that is financially responsible for the selections are present.
Order Delivery & Installation
Most products Pixels offers have a 3-4 week turnaround from order to delivery. Please note, during the busy season, the turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. All pieces in your order go through a rigorous quality control check to confirm every item is in perfect condition before making it into your hands. For your convenience, Pixels offers personal delivery of all orders, as well as installation of wall art in your home or office. When you are contacted that your order is ready, we will schedule a mutually agreeable time and place for delivery and wall art installation, if applicable.
